Our services primarily provide assistance to low-income animal owners or those who experiencing a financial or a domestic issue/emergency. KAS is having our annual event to raise much needed funds. We rely solely on public donations. It is our goal to further raise awareness relating to animal rescue, animal abuse and abandonment, animal behavior and special pet education community programs for all ages especially in local schools regarding pet safety and pet responsibilities. Our mission, “to be a voice for the voiceless”, a “safe haven” for animals who need our help. Here is just a brief summary of Keno’s Animal Sanctuary. Keno’s is proud to be a cage-free animal sanctuary facility, yes cage free! Keno’s provides housing for over 100 permanent residents, services and medical care for all types of animals in need. Keno’s works with each and every animal, whatever their needs may be, ranging from behavior, training, rehabilitation, special needs medical, etc. Keno’s is a no kill sanctuary rescue, so when Keno’s takes in an animal that is unadoptable for any reason, they are cared for and given sanctuary for life. Keno’s Animal Sanctuary is making a positive community impact through its animal welfare and advocacy activities; we offer a variety of community outreach projects, education and opportunities. Keno’s is 100% salary free; all money received is used 100% for the animals.
We do everything in our power to bring the ill back to good health, socialize the shy and timid and find the perfect home for every adoptable animal. We will keep them until we do, even if it means forever. We are an animal rescue organization that aids in and facilitates rescues of animals in need. We take in owner surrenders, help in hoarding situations and rescue animals that have been abandoned. We are involved in humane trapping, aiding in humane trapping and educating potential adoptive parents and families in the proper ways to care for their current and newly adopted pets. We make sure all of our rescues are vetted, healthy, happy and properly suited for their new home. We build lasting and forever relationships with our adopters and have life-time return/placement for all of our rescue's so that they forever have a safe haven.
